The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation in European Union law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union. It came into force on 25th May 2018. The GDPR aims primarily to give control to citizens and residents over their personal data and to simplify the regulatory environment for international business by unifying the regulation within the EU. It became enforceable on 25th May 2018, and is incorporated into the Data Protection Act 2008.
At UNEP-WCMC, we are committed to being transparent about the use of the User’s personal data. The User’s data will be stored securely and will not be sold to third parties. The User’s data will not be shared with third parties except as outlined below.
